"Hunt" was made during my time living in Brooklyn, NY. Instead of including the furniture from which the animals' pelt originated from photos of the items were taken as I found them on the street - thrown out by whoever had owned them. The voids of the pelts were shown in these photographs which were then presented in the space along with the new hybrid animals- creating a sort of scavenger hunt in which the viewer was invited to participate. The name "Hunt" refers to my process of finding furniture and cutting the pelts out on the street, the way the dogs are chasing the deer through the space, as well as the hunt the viewer participates in within the installation.
